| Josh Rush's WAW Career began at WAW's very first pay per view event, Unforgiven 2005, it was there where he took on the current United States Champion, Ultimate Warrior, where if Josh Rush would win he would get a shot at the United States Championship next week on Wreckage. Josh ended up winning that match but the next week for the United States Championship, he would fail in a Lions Den Match. The next week Josh Rush would take on Ultimate Warrior in one last shot for the United States Championship, in a last man standing match. Josh Rush ended up winning the United States title here and join alongside with Shane McMahon in The Powertrip where it is said that he will join Team Shane at Kaos in the House inside the first ever Triple Cage Match in WAW to take on Team Austin(R.A.C.E.). Team Shane ended up winning the match at Kaos in the House, but the night was not over for Josh Rush as Matt Harrison and Josh's brother, Travis Rush came down to the ring. The show ended with Josh Rush joining forces with his brother and Matt Harrison to form, The Powerhouse Express, a whole new era in WAW. Josh Rush and Travis Rush formed a tag team called, The Adrenaline Rush. They eventually became the WAW Tag Team Champions by defeating The Playas Club(Corey Stevens and Bling Bling), but the team of Adrenaline Rush will be short lived as Travis Rush got his girlfriend Torrie Wilson and seemingly pushed Josh out of the picture. So Josh Rush got a new partner, Matt Harrison. Travis Rush got a new partner, Corey Stevens. Now it had to be settled, Josh and Travis couldn't team together anymore because they couldn't cooperate so the match was made Josh Rush and Matt Harrison Vs Travis Rush and Corey Stevens where the winners would be the undisputed Tag Team Championships. After the match had ended Josh Rush and Matt Harrison were the new tag team champions, or so they thought as Shane McMahon came out and stripped them of the titles because he did not like the way the belts were being passed around. So the Rush Brothers couldn't stand each other and it would all come to a head at New Years Massacre in a three stages of hell match. Josh becomes the victor in that match proving once again that he is the dominate Rush in WAW. The challenge was made on January 8th, 2006 where Jonathan Micheals decided he wanted to take on Josh Rush next week for the United States Championship, but later on in the night for the first time ever it was friend vs friend, Josh Rush Vs Matt Harrison and suprisingly, Josh Rush walked out the victor over World Champion, Matt Harrison. A week later came when it was time for Josh Rush to defend his U.S. Title against Jonathan Micheals and in that match would be the one conclude Josh Rush's 3 and a half month reign as United States Champion getting four title defends along the way. So where does Josh go after losing his U.S. Title? Well he goes to The Royal Rumble Match at The Great Brawl at the end of January in 2006, where he will enter number 13 and eliminate four other people(Ryan Owens, Jus Huntley, Kurt Barrow, and Natural "ICE" Beckman) to become the first ever Royal Rumble winner in WAW history and get a guranteed shot at the World Title in the main event at Wrestling Heaven. Orginally Josh Rush was suppose to take on Tumultus for the World Title at Wrestling Heaven, but he left the company and in a 5-Man Gauntlet Match a new champion in K-Nyne would rise to the throne of WAW. Making Wrestling Heaven's main event Josh Rush taking on K-Nyne. Wrestling Heaven rolls around, the grandest show in all of WAW, and Josh Rush comes up short in the match against K-Nyne crushing him under defeat. The next week though Josh Rush would get a rematch for the World Title this time in a Roofed Steel Cage Match, which Josh once more would fall short of his dreams of becoming WAW World Champion. About a month or so later Josh Rush's next World Title Shot would come up, this time a 5-Man Brawl for all for the belt between him, K-Nyne, Matt Harrison, Jonathan Micheals, and the returned Travis Rush. Matt Harrison ended up winning the match though. Josh Rush and Travis Rush wanted to settle the score once more and they did so, too bad Josh never quite made it to the ring as Travis attacked him from behind on his way to the ring with a iron pipe and shattered his leg taking him out of action for quite some time. While Josh rehabbed and finally got better he started running around WAW as "The Unknown" he had challenged Natas to a match at The Outback Attack and he failed to win but after the match he revealed himself as Josh Rush shocking the entire world by making a return to the WAW ring. One month later Josh Rush would be wearing gold again as he took on Typhoon Vance and Rich Juarez in a triple threat match to win the United States Title off of Rich Juarez to become the first ever two time United States Champion. By the time the next pay per view came around Josh Rush and Matt Harrison were back together and were set to go into a Triple Cage Match for the Tag Team Titles, for some odd reason Josh Rush never showed up for the match. The next week he was set to defend his United States Title in a triple threat match against Typhoon Vance and Lance Minion but for some odd reason again Josh Rush didn't show up. He lost his title in that triple threat match when he wasn't even in the arena, after no showing twice, Josh Rush was fired from the WAW. Josh would return a few times in similar fashion. No showing his events, even trying to take out Nova Huntley for the U.S. Title but again he no showed. He is on the WAW's shit list now and if it wasn't for his past probaly wouldn't be here. |

| "Josh was a good guy in his early days, he seemed like he always wanted to succeed and he did quite often. Once he captured that United States Title he didn't want to let go. However once he won the Royal Rumble in 2006 it was all down hill. I just wish we could see the Josh of old back some day" --- Jus Huntley
"Josh Rush's highlight was becoming the first ever WAW Royal Rumble winner, even though he never went on to become World Champion. My most memorable moment with him, was when he came as 'The Unknown' and I defeated him at The Outback Attack. He had a great run, but his no show appearances led to his downfall." --- Natas Metronic |
