| What is it with the drunks? First Beckman debuts at a PPV nearly winning a big match, then Ed Slamin as he was one man away from winning the intercontiental Championship in his debut match at Unforgiven. Ed Slamin lost the match to Swisha who he would start to fued with. Ed would make it known he wants to beat Swisha by attacking him backstage the next week, then later on beating Johnzo Scary to become the number one contender for the Intercontiental Title. The fued continued to heat up heading into Kaos in the House where Ed Slamin would eventually capture the Intercontiental Championship along with his manager/girlfriend Stacy Keibler who would win the Womens Championship later on. Ed Slamin later drop the IC Title for reasons still not understood to this day, he just didn't want it, which upset Kevin Nash and led to a match at Fight 4 Freedom where Ed Slamin defeated Kevin Nash, the enforcer of WAW. Next was the World Title Tourny where in the first round Ed Slamin got a tough break and lost to Shane Hunt though. Giving him only his second loss in 7 matches. Tough breaks kept coming as Ed once won a match because his opponent couldnt make it to the ring, then he lost another match, this time a brawl room brawl as his fued with The Powertrip and Jus Huntley was beginning. Johnny Dangerous and Ed Slamin fought in the bar but Shane and Hasumi were there to screw Ed out of winning. This would lead to Shane McMahon sending his dog, The Assassin at Ed Slamin in a Parking Lot Brawl. Ed would win the match with the help of a forklift, coming out on top of the powertrip on that occasion. Next Ed Slamin would find himself in Jonathan Micheal's wife's pants sota say. Ed was dating Jennifer Micheals, current womens champion, and her husband didn't really approve of it as this started another hatred for Slamin. For the next couple weeks Ed Slamin would do his matches, win some lose some, go into the Great Brawl but got eliminated by Corey Stevens. Til Jonathan Micheals challenged Ed again. This time it would be for the U.S. Title. Corey Stevens on the other hand was getting in Ed's hair once more by interfering in his match with Josh Rush. Over all of this mayhem Ed managed to find a friend in his drunk buddy/partner Natural ICE Beckman. Before Ed Slamin faces Jonathan Micheals with the U.S. Title on the line Ed wanted a worthy and fun wrestling Heaven Opponent so he picked on Jus Huntley, the boss. Jennifer Micheals would leave Ed Slamin, and Corey Stevens after Ed would lose his U.S. Title Match would come out and stir some more shit with Ed. Wrestling Heaven rolled around and it was time for Ed Slamin to meet his maker, lierally.. The Boss Vs The Drunk Employee. After a hardcorish match, Jus Huntley pulls out the victory. The next night Ed Slamin and WUI(tag team with beckman) get their tag title shots, however it wasn't to be when Ed Slamin was pinned to cost WUI the match. Assassin had returned and he wanted revenge from last time when Ed put him out of commission from New Years Massacre 2006. The contract signing was shortly after Ed's match with Harrison which he lost. It was time for the contract signing which would be Ed Slamin Vs The Assassin, Parking Lot Brawl 2! Ed had laid out Assassin and Jus Huntley but the rest of The Powertrip wasn't far behind to get control back of the situation. Cyberslam came around and it was time for the rematch. Ed Slamin would lose after Assassin big splashed Ed Slamin onto the hood of a car off of a forklift. The Powertrip problems for Ed got bigger when his friend, Beckman, joined the powertrip.. Ed was left mainly by himself against the powertrip, losing a tag match with K-Nyne who also had powertrip problems the next night in a Powertrip Lumberjack match against Jus and Beckman. Things would start to calm down for Ed as he was now being put to the bottom of the ladder sota speak, but also with a new girl, that being Ruthless Aggression. Ed would begin defeating opponents like Nathan Hellsing, Markcus Simmons, Jeremy Jack. Maui Melee rolled around and Ed would take on Ryan Hardy in a coconut match, Ed lost by disqualification cause he used his kendo stick. Jus of course still hated Ed, and vice versa. Jus had been paying off Typhoon Vance for a couple weeks to be taking it to Ed Slamin, starting with an I Quit Match where Ed passed out and lost. In between that Ed Slamin had got into a dispute with Daniel White over who the real king of hardcore was, as both loved hardcore. The Outback Attack from Australia Ed Slamin would prove to Daniel White that he was the king of hardcore, in of course, a hardcore matchup. Once again Ed was going at Jus, this time because he wanted a World Title shot that he has yet to get, so once again Jus doesnt give it to Ed, instead gives him Typhoon Vance again, this time in a Dog Chain Match which Vance would once again win. After that match Ed Slamin was attacked by Jus and his new goon, Josh Bellmont, who Ed took care of next week in a match. From there it seems as Ed would have racial problems. Franklin Sanders of the african american race and Ed would get it on at Full Throttle after a heated backstage confrontation at Wreckage the week before. Ed defeats Franklin, then the next night it was another african american in G-Unit, whom Ed beat once again. For the next month Ed would continue his normal ways, taking on random people, in random hardcore matches. Ruthless Aggression had now returned and her and Ed joined the Triple Cage Match for the Tag Team Titles at Midsummer Madness, however none of them would walk out of it with any gold. After that had failed, Ed Slamin now had his eyes set on a new prize, The Attitude Championship. Matt Harrison had just won the title and Ed Slamin made an impact by smashing a full beer can over his head. The next week Ed took on Alex Blake in an Attitude Match and Harrison would get his revenge by costing Ed Slamin his match. Next week Harrison one uped Slamin again this time pinning him in a tag match with Daniel White as his partner and Alex Divito as Ed Slamin's partner. After the past couple weeks of getting one uped by Harrison, Slamin had finally won the war against Harrison by defeating him at A September 2 Remember for the Attitude Championship, giving Ed his first title in nearly 10 months! Ed's title reign was short lived though when he lost it the next week to Alex Blake. That loss would be the final straw for Ed Slamin and it would be his final match in WAW, perhaps he burned out as he always wanted the hardcorist matches.. but either way, he is deffiantly The Hardcore Icon!

| "Ed and I we never quite seen eye to eye. He was always the guy who wanted to take down authority, and that just happen to be me. However at the time the battles with him seemed like hell, now I look back and I just laugh at the memories.. knowing I kicked his ass so bad he left WAW." --- Jus Huntley
"I would like to thank Ed Slammin for getting my career started when I took the 24/7 belt from him before my debut match. I remember everytime I saw The Sandman on ECW, I would accidently call him Ed Slammin. He was a great person to work with and will be missed." --- Natas Metronic |
